  • Tax Preparation

    One of our Tax Nerds will prepare your current or prior year's federal and state (if required) tax returns. 

    Please choose the Tier that best matches your tax situation.
    For General Consultations (not tax preparation) please see the Consultation section.

    Please note: Between February 15 - April 15 our focus will be on tax preparation. General consults will have to happen outside that time timeframe. 

    • Tier 4: Appointments with Diana or Marci $100
      Tier 4 Tax Preparation is for Individuals or Married Folks who want to work with Diana or Marci
      PLEASE NOTE: if you schedule an appointment with Marci or Diana you will be paying Tier 4 rates. 

      Tier 4 minimum fees:   
      • Individual 1040 tax return: $375 (minimum) - may increase dependent on the income level (Gross Receipts) and complexity of your return.

      • Married 1040 tax return: $650 (minimum) - may increase dependent on the income level (Gross Receipts) and complexity of your return, i.e., more than 2 schedules activated.

      The $100 deposit listed above will be applied to your final tax preparation fee. 



    • Tier 5: Business Entity Tax Preparation $150
      Tier 5 Tax Preparation is for the following business entities: Partnerships, Multi-Member LLC's, and S-Corps
      ** Deadline is March 15th **

      Tier 5 minimum fees:  
      • Partnership and Multi-Member LLC: $650 (minimum) - may increase dependent on the income level (Gross Receipts) and the complexity of your return.

      • S-Corp returns: $850 (minimum) - may increase dependent on the income level (Gross Receipts) and the complexity of your return.
       
      PLEASE NOTE:  If you have a Single-member LLC you should schedule a PERSONAL tax appointment.
      The $150 deposit listed above will be applied to your tax preparation fee.



  • Consultations

    Time with one of the Treehouse Team members but NOT tax preparation
    • Consultation (not tax preparation) $200
      A General Consult with a tax nerd is your chance to ask your questions about federal or state income tax. Is this your first year as an independent contractor, sole proprietor, or partnership? Wondering what to expect come tax time? Have you been saving up your questions waiting for just the right, friendly and knowledgeable tax nerd to walk into your life? Consult with a tax nerd for an hour about any of your federal or state income tax questions. 

      Please note:  We only offer General Consults in the off season.
